Arrived at the starting point of the excursion, we will be in front of the famous Altomontana track, a natural path that circumnavigates Mount Etna from south to northeast.

We will ride through amazing changing landscapes, from lush woods (beeches, pines, brooms, poplars) and milk-vetch to the lunar desert landscape, created by past lava flows (sciara).

Arriving at the Galvarina Refuge, we will visit an Hornito (a volcanic conic structure).Shortly after, we will arrive at the Lava Tube of Monte Nunziata. The Nature Etna Guide will explain you geology and the genesis of the volcano and scientific curiosity along the way, you will be cycling for 2 hours more or less before getting to the mountain refuge of Monte Spagnolo a perfect place to enjoy a lunch in nature and listen to the sounds of the forest.

The Bike Experience will continue through the widest lava field of Mt.Etna Park, it will be the prelude of the biggest wood of Etna, the forest of Ragabo, which will be the end of this majestic off-road trail.

From there, You will cycle up and down on the Mountain road in order to reach the beautiful village of Milo, where our van will pick you up and back to the meeting point. A great day comes to an end.
